Exploring the Natural World Around Us

In this interdisciplinary unit about physical science, students will integrate science, art, vocabulary, writing, and more. The skills are all connected to the national science and national language arts standards. Reproducibles are included, and this is ready for immediate use. This unit includes the following concepts:

The water cycle 

Types of rocks & the rock cycle

and more. The unit also includes a brief study of how climate change is affecting these elements of earth with an example from Indigenous people in the Amazon and Colombia.
